Our Founder

I spent nearly three decades leading organizations where failure wasn't an option.

I have worked where preparation matters most, leading organizations through uncertainty, assessing complex risks, and helping people make confident decisions when the stakes are high.

My career has included service as a senior Canadian Army officer, university professor, executive advisor, and operational resilience practitioner. Across those roles, one lesson has remained constant: organizations rarely fail because disruption occurs. They fail because they were unprepared for how quickly small problems become major operational failures.

That experience became the foundation of Preparedness Labs.

Rather than selling fear or promoting expensive enterprise consulting, my mission is to make practical, evidence-based resilience accessible to founder-led businesses. Every framework, template, course, and advisory program has been designed to answer one question:
